A look back at the Ligue 1 title-winning season

Join us for a retrospective on the 2023/24 league season that ended with the club's 12th national crown.

Paris started with two draws against Lorient (0-0) and Toulouse (1-1) before picking up a first win of the season in their third game against Lens. A home defeat to Nice came before the team set off on an exceptional unbeaten run.

The first big game came on Matchday 6 with an impressive 4-0 win in the Classique over Olympique de Marseille, repeating the four goals they netted against their arch-rivals during the 2019-20 season. The Parisians' two new goalscorers stood out: Randal Kolo Muani got on the scoresheet while Gonçalo Ramos netted twice.

Paris on a roll in ligue 1

The Rouge-et-Bleu made the season all the more memorable with an incredible unbeaten run. They did not lose a single game between 24 September 2023 and 27 April 2024 (18 wins, 8 draws). What's more, the Parisians scored at least three goals in five successive games between Matchday 8 and Matchday 13.

As Luis Enrique had announced, Paris Saint-Germain grew in strength early in 2024. They scored six times against Montpellier with Kylian Mbappé netting a hat-trick and Vitinha, who had a great season, also on the scoresheet.

A VERY POSITIVE  RECORD

The Parisians finished top of the table to claim a 12th Ligue 1 title with 22 wins, 10 draws and two defeats. They scored 81 times in the season and did not lose a single game away from home.

Mbappé finished as the league's top scorer with 27 goals ahead of Lille's Jonathan David (19). Ousmane Dembélé topped the league's assist chart with eight, ahead of teammates Bradley Barcola and Mbappé on seven.
