A first goal for Yoram Zague on his birthday
Paris Saint-Germain youngster Yoram Zague scored his first professional goal on his birthday, in Paris Saint-Germain's match against OGC Nice.
And a happy birthday to Yoram Zague!
Just over a month after his first ever appearance with the first team against Clermont, the youth academy product, who received the compliments of Luis Enrique that day, was not to be denied! Making his fourth Ligue 1 start, the young defender was also celebrating his birthday against Nice, so what better way to celebrate than by officially netting that first goal in Rouge et Bleu?
The Paris-native nabbed the second goal of the evening against Les Aiglons, getting on the end of a superb Bradley Barcola cross in the 23rd minute. The entire team celebrated the symbolic moment with the Titi, who then ran to the bench and into the arms of his U19 teammates Ethan Mbappé and Senny Mayulu.
And just for the stat, Yoram becomes the youngest player to score on his birthday in Ligue 1 in the last 75 years!
He is also the second Titi to score his first goal for the club in 2024, after Senny Mayulu who netted his first goal on 20 January, in the 4-1 win over US Orléans in the Coupe de France round of 32.
