2023-24 Ligue 1 season dates announced
Following their meeting on Wednesday, the LFP’s Board of Directors have confirmed the general schedule for the 2023-2024 season of Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT.
The 2023-2024 season will start on the weekend of the 12th and 13th August 2023.
It will mark the league's switch to 18 clubs and therefore to 34 matchdays. Only Matchday 17 is scheduled to take place in midweek, with it being played on Wednesday 20th December 2023 and signifying the start of the winter break.
The teams will return to action on Matchday 18, which is scheduled for the weekend of the 13th and 14th January 2024.
The final matchday of the 2023-2024 Ligue 1 season, Matchday 34, has been set for Saturday 18th May 2024.
