100th appearance in Ligue 1 for Presnel Kimpembe

The Paris Saint-Germain played his 100th Ligue 1 match on Matchday 6, as his side won 6-1 against Angers on Friday 2 October at the Parc des Princes.

With a record of 78 victories, 11 draws and 11 defeats, the France international is the player that boasts the greatest number of victories in his first 100 matches in the top flight since 1950-1951.

Since his debut in Ligue 1 on 17 October 2014, with the 3-1 win against Lens at the Stade de France, the player who came through the ranks at Paris Saint-Germain has won the league title on five occasions with the club from the capital: in 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

"I am incredibly proud, time passes so quickly!, explained the number 3 when speaking to PSG TV. I didn't know that it was my 100th Ligue 1 match before this evening. I found out before the match. It's incredible to proudly wear this shirt on so many occasions in the league. It's a huge source of pride. We will try to make the most of it with, we hope, a lot more victories."
