Yohan Cabaye honoured at the Parc
The former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder (57 matches across all competitions between 2014 and 2015) was the guest of honour for Matchday 5 of the UEFA Champions League group stage match against Newcastle United FC, on Tuesday 28 November at the Parc des Princes.
It was the opportunity for the former Parisian player to appear on the Kick Off show before witnessing the draw against the Magpies (1-1). As a reminder, the France international (48 caps between 2010 and 2016) notably won 2 Ligue 1 titles (2014 and 2015), 2 Coupe de la Ligue titles (2014 and 2015), as well as the 2015 Coupe de France with Paris Saint-Germain.
Since then, he rejoined the club from the capital in July 2021, taking on the role of Sporting Coordinator for the Youth Academy. From the beginning of 2023, he has held the role of Deputy Director of club's Youth Academy
Alongside the former Rouge et Bleu midfielder in the guest seats were other former Paris Saint-Germain players: Amara Simba, Laurent Robert, Jimmy Algerino and even Pedro Miguel Pauleta, all invited by the club to watch the encounter.
