Women's team visits Necker Children's Hospital

The Paris Saint-Germain women's team dropped into the Necker Chieldren's Hospital on Tuesday to bring a little Christmas cheer to the kids in the wards!

As part of the agreement signed in 2012 between the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation and the Necker Children's Hospital, the club's three professional teams succeed each other every year at the bedside of young children.

This Monday, it was the players from Paris Saint-Germain women's team who visited the young patients at the hospital.

Divided into small groups, the players first went to the various rooms of the hospitalised children, in order to meet them, have a chat, and to leave them some gifts before the Christmas holidays.

"It is always nice to give a little happiness to children in difficulty, to see their smiles, those of their parents. It is heart-warming and allows us to put things into perspective. It is always a pleasure to come to Necker Hospital to share these moments," explained Aminata Diallo between two wards.

The day ended in the hospital auditorium, where the children were able to take part in several activities with the entire staff of the women's section: photo sessions, meeting with the mascot Germain, magic tricks, make-up and a balloon workshop... An joyous moment between the players, the children, their parents, and the medical staff who accompany them every day.

Sabrina Delannoy, Deputy Director of the Paris Saint Saint-Germain Foundation added: "Some children will spend Christmas here so it was important to bring them this little moment of happiness before the holidays. It is important to give them a breath of fresh air, in a daily life that is not always easy, but it is also important for the players to come and meet these children, to give them their time and energy."
