Victory for the heart

On Tuesday night at the Parc des Princes, the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation, brought people together for its annual gala dinner. It was the chance to shine the spotlight on the work of the Foundation and organise an auction to raise funds to continue to its excellent work.

The tireless work of the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation was rewarded tonight with its annual gala dinner, organised at the Parc des Princes. The guests were joined by the entire Paris Saint-Germain first team for this exceptional evening, so close to the heart of Paris Saint-Germain Chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaïfi: ‘It’s magnificent evening for all of us, for the Foundation, for the club. We end this season with this gala dinner, it’s a very important evening for us. We work very hard for the children, on their education, scholastic and sporting. We hope to raise a lot of money this evening to continue to advance the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation, it’s a real priority for us.”

Foundation Director Christine Le Gal, highlighted the commitment of the entire club to help the Foundation reach its goals:  "This is a great moment for everyone, it’s the Foundation’s night, but also for the entire Paris Saint-Germain family. Our partners, our players, our donors… everyone has come together for this great event.”

Amongst the celebrities, including huge PSG fans DJ Snake and Malik Bentalha, was Paris Saint-Germain legend Pedro Miguel Pauleta: "It’s very important to be here, I would call it an obligation. I congratulate Paris Saint-Germain for its Foundation."

“Each year we try to innovate and surprise our guests,” declared Foundation Assistant Director Sabrina Delannoy. “We are lucky enough to be allowed onto the pitch at the Parc des Princes this year, and it really gives this evening a special edge. It’s a very special event that shines the light on the work of the Foundation and the entire Paris Saint-Germain family.”

The main objective of the evening was achieved as the gala dinner raised €1.645 million for the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation. A worthy sum that reflects Paris Saint-Germain and its Foundation’s commitment to continue working to help children in need.
