The U19s keep up the momentum

After a 2-0 win in Orleans, Zoumana Camara's men continue to build on their recent success in the league, in their first game of the season in 2022!

starting eleven

Lavallée - Fernandez-Veliz, Bitshiabu, Muntu Wa Mungu, Bodiang - Zaire-Emery, Kari, Weidmann - Gharbi, Gassama, Yansané.

how it happened

After a few weeks in the Gambardella Cup, the U19s were back on the pitch in the league for the first time in 2022, and since the 8-0 victory over Valenciennes. At the Stade de la Source, the Parisians were reduced to ten men after 20 minutes of play when Bodiang was sent off.

But it was in the second half that it all came together, with Gassama opening the scoring after just over an hour when he was set up by Gharbi (0-1, 62'). Odobert completed the victory at the very end of the game, on a service from Muntu Wa Mungu (0-2, 90'). The gap in the standings has widened a little, with the Parisians now 10 points ahead of Drancy, who were beaten 2-0 at Lens.
