The Paris Saint-Germain Youth Academy rated highly

Paris Saint-Germain's youth set-up was awarded a mark of four-out-of-five in the French Football Federation's annual audit.

Paris Saint-Germain were among just four professional clubs - with Lyon, Saint-Étienne and Le Havre - to achieve the four-star rating, and the Club scored full marks in the categories of professionalisation, national teams and European representation.

It's the second successive season that the FFF has audited the youth academies of 35 Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and National - the third tier of French football - clubs according to five criteria: professionalisation (U16 to U23 players under professional contract in the top two divisions from the top 10 UEFA-ranked countries, and National), playing time in their club's first team, national teams (international matches played regardless of nation), education (academic qualifications achieved in the previous season) and European representation (players in clubs having the most UEFA ranking points with a youth academy convention of at least a year).
