The Paris Saint-Germain Academy Rwanda prepares to launch
In a unifying project that helps develop football in Rwanda the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Rwanda will welcome its first group of students from the month of September 2021.
The PSG Academy teams are already searching for the 200 best players in the Huye area. This children will have the opportunity to train in a Rwanda premier division stadium all season with coaches that are taught with the club from the capital's methodology.
The group will be defined after trials organised by the Academy coaching team, in 30 schools in the area to enable as many children, boys and girls to get this opportunity. Overall they will look at nearly 2000 children, including nearly 500 girls.
In addition to these trials, the coaches' trip is a chance to unite the entire region around this project, to develop football and its core values in Rwanda.
