Second edition of the Ramadan tournament in Egypt

Two tournaments at each facility of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Egypt has been organized at the same time, one was at the east side of Cairo at Concordia/Ebis school facility, and the other one was on the other west side of the capital Cairo at Newgiza club. Different tournaments for all age groups starting from U-7 until U-14 took place during the holy month of Ramadan. Kids enjoyed creating their own teams and each team had to select a name of a Paris Saint-Germain player to label their team with, Neymar Jr team, Di Maria team, Thiago Silva team and others were between the chosen names of the teams competing to win the title of the second edition of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Egypt Ramadan Tournament.

This year the level of competition was quite high since different top class clubs from Egypt participated in the tournament, namely Al Ahly, Zamalek, Tersana, Goldi and Egypt Talent Academy were between the teams participating in the tournament. The general ambiance and competition level was really great and all teams enjoyed the experience. On the final day of the tournament, the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Egypt had the honor of welcoming Al Ahly and national team former captain Ahmed Belal as well as Zamalek Sporting Club youth sector head captain Adel Al Dessouky to hand the cup and medals for the winning teams.

Tournament results:

U-9/U-10: Paris Saint-Germain Academy “Cavani Team” won against Paris Saint-Germain Academy “Neymar Jr Team” in the final.
U-11/U-12: Zamalek Sporting Club won against Paris Saint-Germain Academy “Neymar Jr Team”.
U-13/U-14: Zamalek Club A won against Zamalek B while Paris Saint-Germain Academy “Neymar Team” took the third place.
