Scouting for the Academy France!

At the start of June, almost 140 children from the Paris Saint-Germain Academy France had the opportunity to participate in a slightly different training session...

Each year, the Paris Saint-Germain Academy France organises a scouting session which reunites the most deserving players from the centres in Ile de France from U9-U13s age groups. On the menu, training sessions led by coaches from the Association Paris Saint-Germain and supervised by members of the club's scouting network. Over the first two weeks of June, these targeted sessions brought together almost 140 children. The objective is to be able to observe and evaluate each child, with the possibility of them signing for one of the Association's teams, or on an exceptional basis, to join the club's pre-Academy.

Thibaut Karsenty, Managing Director of the Association Paris Saint-Germain, was very satisfied by the event: "Today, it's a great pleasure for us to be able to use our coaches from the Association Paris Saint-Germain. The transmission of the methodology and the club's values is a subject that is very close to our hearts, especially after a year that has been so difficult for all of the club's young players. Seeing football get back underway is a real delight to see."

This event was made possible thanks to strong collaboration between several sporting elements at the club and has been another success!

Nadia Benmokhtar, Manager at the Paris Saint-Germain Academy spoke about the event: "We really want to regularly offer this type of experience to the children of Paris Saint-Germain France, both in order to create links with the club and with the Association, but also to provide them with an incredible experience. It also provides them with the opportunity to be seen by members of the club's scouting network who attended these training sessions. These children may also have opportunities as players."
