QSI in Paris: 10 years of innovation

In the summer of 2021, Paris Saint-Germain are celebrating ten years since Qatar Sports Investments' arrival at the head of the club. It's a chance for PSG.FR to look back at the best moments from the past decade. Today we're looking at the club's new stature internationally and it's journey to the very top of innovation.

As well as being renowned for their sporting prowess Paris Saint-Germain has also entered a different dimension in the last 10 years, it's become one of the most innovative sports brands.  With the aura it's now got on the international stage, the club from the capital now touches a number of different areas both in Europe and globally.

The summer tours to Asia, the United States and Doha have all enabled the Rouge et Bleu to become firmly established in the hearts of the fans. The tours in Asia and the Parisians' time in Shenzhen left unforgettable memories. It also led to pictures that have become legendary, like the one in front of the city skyline for the 2019-2020 season third kit presentation, a collection that was enhanced by the ALL fashion show at the Raffles in Shenzhen.

This was another photo that became renowned, in front of the Doha skyline this time, the Parisians posed for a memorable selfie, on this platform with the colours of  Paris Saint-Germain, after doing a few keepy ups.

On the other side of the globe, on Palm Beach in Los Angeles, the club from the capital's players took another lovely picture on their bikes, next to the other riders and Californian skaters.

We've also got to speak about the Jordan Brand and Paris Saint-Germain collaboration, a real breakthrough deal in the world of lifestyle and sport. The two brands have joined up for the past three seasons to create unique and innovative collections, reinforcing the club's image, a sporting icon at the forefront of style and a trendsetter within the football world.

To finish off, this innovation has also taken place on a digital front. The club from the capital's social media platforms now garner over 108 million fans (compared to just 500 000 in 2011!) 12M on Twitter, 43M on Facebook 36M on Instagram and 10M on Tiktok (the first sports club in the world to do so on the platform).

This evergrowing development and progress has led to Paris Saint-Germain becoming one of the world's biggest sports franchises.
