#PSG LIMITED - Paris Saint-Germain Fly Fishing Box
#PSGLIMITED is unveiling its third product in the range- the Paris Saint- Germain Fly Fishing Box. Designed and developed by a group of passionate fishermen among the best in the world, these Paris Saint-Germain flies are an art in themselves. The creators are :
- Gérard Piquard from the Franche-Comte region, who lives by Ornans on the banks of one of the most beautiful rivers in France, the Loue, and is one of the most famous fly tiers in France.
- Bruno Pimpanini, Parisian, is one of the world’s best Victorian fly tiers.
- Laurent Regnier, from Brittany, fishes both at sea and in rivers.
- Olivier Masmonteil, Correzian painter, learned to fish in the Limousin streams and travels the world to fish for trout. Olivier is the man who assembled this great team.
Each of the flies has been conceived with football characteristics in mind :
. The Nymph is a precision fly, requiring a very experienced fishing technique, casting the fly at about twenty meters to land it as discreetly as possible, to the millimetre, so that it drifts under the water’s surface to end up up in front of the mouth of a trout.
. The Streamer is a fly that must be powerful, which crosses the currents of large rivers to be able to surprise the fish that will go for it.
. The Tropical Fly is a fast fly aimed for lagoons at the edge of reefs to attract the inter-est of some of the fastest fish in the world: the Bonefish and the Carangue.
. The Butterfly is inspired by the May Fly, which is the grail for many fishermen. It un-derlines the unique and transient nature of the sport, as it must land on the water’s sur-face as gently and precisely as possible.
. The Victorian Fly alone embodies the entire history of fly fishing. These flies, which have traditionally been used in England for several centuries to catch
Atlantic salmon, unite all anglers : they are a sign of belonging to the same family, to a clan sharing the same values.
The Fly Fishing box is on sale from 16 July 2020 exclusively at the Paris
Saint-Germain des Champs-Elysées boutique, in Paris at Maison de la Mouche (1 boule-vard Henri IV, 75004 Paris), at Territoire Pêche (1 Rue Des Salines, 25480 Ecole Valentin) and at store.psg.fr and then in the PSG boutiques in Tokyo, Seoul and Los Angeles.
