Pauleta honoured
Former Paris Saint-Germain striker Pedro Miguel Pauleta (210 matches and 109 goals between 2003 and 2008) was Les Rouge et Bleu's guest of honour at the Parc des Princes for the UEFA Champions League Matchday 4 clash with Atlético de Madrid on Wednesday.
The Portugal international (88 caps, 47 goals), who won the Coupe de France in 2004 and 2006 and the Coupe de la Ligue in 2008 in Rouge et Bleu, caught up with his compatriot Gonçalo Ramos, who now wears the famous number 9 shirt, before the match, and presented him with a 2006-07 legacy away shirt, bearing his name.
The Eagle of Azores, Paris Saint-Germain's 5th all-time top scorer, then took part in the pre-match show and received a standing ovation from his adoring public just minutes before kick-off.
