Paris Saint-Germain names Richard Heaselgrave Chief Revenue Officer
Paris Saint-Germain today announces the appointment of international sports-business executive Richard Heaselgrave as its new Chief Revenue Officer, set to begin later this month.
Richard brings two decades of senior commercial experience to Paris Saint-Germain. He was previously Chief Revenue and Fan Engagement Officer at World Rugby where he led the commercial programmes for the men’s and women’s Rugby World Cups. Before that he served as Chief Revenue and Experience Officer at Tennis Australia, overseeing the Australian Open; Chief Commercial Officer at the English Football League, where he negotiated new title sponsorships and ran Football league Interactive, the digital business of the 72 Football League Clubs; Vice-President for International Development at the NBA; and Sponsorship, Sales and Event Promotion Executive at UEFA.
Based in the Club’s Paris headquarters, Richard will oversee all commercial strategy and operations for Paris Saint-Germain, including global and regional sponsorship and partnerships, hospitality and ticketing, merchandising, media rights, digital products and fan-engagement initiatives.
Under the custodianship of Qatar Sports Investments, Paris Saint-Germain has transformed its business model and revenue profile over the past decade. Last season, the Club achieved the 3rd highest revenues in club football globally with a total €806 million, which directly drives its sporting ambitions. Paris Saint-Germain has also become a major economic asset to France, contributing €3 billion to public finances since 2011 and generating considerable value across the country, including €243 million in economic value for the Paris region in 2023/24.
