Paris Saint-Germain launches first Academy of Esports

The Parisian club is carrying on its ambitious development in Esports, launching as part of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy an Esports section, opening up a space dedicated to players.

The rouge et bleu club were already pionniers in being the first major football club to throw themselves into Esports in 2016, and is now beefing up its presence in the domain with the launch of two new programmes: one 100% digital and a physical space.

In Esports, Paris Saint-Germain have always tried to transpose the values and philosophy shown on the field or in the dressing rooms. Whether it's looking for performance, in addressing themselves to players of all levels, or in training and education, at the heart of the project of the club.

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN ACADEMY ESPORT ON LINE

From December 10, a new platform for reserving private lessons "Paris Saint-Germain Academy Esports" will be accessible on line. It has been developed in partnership with GamerCoach, specialists in coaching video games on lines and is aimed at players of all levels.

This coaching platform, based on training and accompanying amateur players, will enable fans of video games to book private lessons with professional players from the Esports scene.

These coaches have followed the training programme "Academy" of Paris Saint-Germain, that aims to make players perform better, enabling them to adapt to all game situations they encounter.

The objective is to promote among young gamers an ethical and responsible way of playing video games. All the coaches have been alerted to good behaviour, from controlling the amount of time spent playing or setting limits, in order to play in ideal conditions and to give gamers every chance of progressing.
