Paris Saint-Germain and Snipes with a special jersey, a good cause a common goal
Paris Saint Germain played the recent home game with a special version of its home-kit. During its 1-0 win against Lens, the leader of Ligue 1, together with its "Official Culture & Community Partner" SNIPES, placed a subtle homage in the area of the SNIPES logo on the players' backs.
Barely visible to the naked eye, names have been integrated into the logo. These are the names of numerous local personalities who are closely connected to SNIPES and PSG, but also to the culture in Paris. All partners are part of the launch activation of SNIPES, which started in September to announce the three-year partnership with Paris Saint-Germain.
SNIPES would like to use this opportunity to thank those who, with their network and passion, not only make a difference at the launch moment, but also in their communities every day.
"At SNIPES, we always look for a direct connection to our communities, think locally and close to the target group. It is important for us to always give something back. Whether it's support with everyday necessities, access to education or special experiences: this is where we want to join forces with PSG in the future to achieve even more," says SNIPES company spokesman Simon Bus.
Paris Saint-Germain with its PSG Foundation and the "PSG for the Communities" approach and SNIPES with its giveback program "SNIPES Serves" see this moment as a kind of kick-off and want to achieve more together in several areas in the future. SNIPES is already supporting the "SNIPES Tour" and is thus offering children and juveniles from the entire Ile de France a special stadium experience together with PSG. There are also plans to anchor hip hop culture more firmly in the education sector and to help young people who don't have enough money for food.
"Since 2011, our President's wish has been to accelerate local and international support for young people in need, highlighting our values of education, inclusion, and transmission. We fully share this goal with our new partner, SNIPES, and are very motivated by the prospect of doing even more together in social initiatives aimed at the younger generation.” says Fabien Allègre, Vice President of PSG For Communities.
