Paris Saint-Germain Academy's Technical Director heads to Turkey

From 13th to 18th September, Benjamin Houri, Paris Saint-Germain Academy’s Technical Director, was in Turkey for his annual technical visit.

The aim of the visit was to organise a general discussion with the National Technical Director and the staff at Paris Saint-Germain Academy Turkey regarding the club's training methodology.

During his stay, Benjamin visited facilities in Ümraniye, Kartal, Bursa and Istanbul – four of the 16 sites covered by the Paris Saint-Germain Academy programme in Turkey. Over the course of a week that was full of discovery and exchange, Houri provided a number of theoretical reminders regarding the club's methodology, followed by sessions where these were put into practice on the pitch. All of the youth coaches that Paris Saint-Germain Academy's Technical Director met during his stay were attentive to what he had to say, with the aim of passing the lessons learnt onto Turkey's young academy players on the pitch.

Houri spoke about the trip: "I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the various sites that I've visited this week, as well as by the level of professionalism shown by the technical staff here, who are well and truly flying the flag for Paris Saint-Germain in Turkey. We're proud to have them as partners."

The whole team is eager to see them again for the traditional Paris Saint-Germain Academy World Cup next June in Paris.
