The magazine 'Türkiye'de İş Dünyası' ('The World of Business in Turkey') has rewarded Paris Saint-Germain Academy Turkey by naming it the best football academy for the 2021-22 season, in the category known as “Project with a strong educational value”.

Nihat Uğurlu, the founder of Paris Saint-Germain Academy Turkey, said: "We're investing considerably to make football better in our country, as we love it as a sport. As a local business, we've always aimed to be leaders on the Turkish market. We're putting faith in our students and in their parents by running development programmes that are suited to the education and the wellbeing of all. We're investing heavily in our young people, as we believe in their potential. Our short-term aim is to establish ourselves in more than 20 different cities and, eventually, to have around 30 sites across the country. Currently, we have 15 sites in 11 different cities [three sites in Istanbul, three in Bursa, one in Ankara, one in Antalya, one in Izmir, one in Mersin, one in Trabzon, one in Muğla, one in Erzurum, one in Samsun and one in Diyarbakir]."

Paris Saint-Germain Academy Turkey began operating on 26th May 2018 in Istanbul with the opening of its first centre. It is currently active across 15 sites in 11 different provinces.

The academy hosts more than 1,200 players aged between three and 19 years old, and through Paris Saint-Germain's training methodology, it develops players both on the pitch and in the classroom.

Thanks to premium infrastructure, quality coaches and constant care given to the success of each player, Paris Saint-Germain Academy Turkey is proud to win this title as the country's best academy and is committed to maintaining a consistently high standard in order to spread the Paris Saint-Germain name across the country.
