Les Titis win at Chambly in final league game

Paris Saint-Germain's U19 team won by a large margin away at Chambly on Sunday 15 May on the 26th and final match day of the U19 National Championship (6-2).

There was an attacking festival at Chambly this Sunday. Our youngsters from the academy had a lively first quarter of an hour with the opening of the score by Djeidi Gassama (1-0, 12') then the immediate reaction from the Camblysiens by Mounir El Hajjami (1-1, 14'). The Red and Blue then stepped up a gear in the first half to take the lead. Gassama got his second (2-1, 22'), while Wilson Odobert (3-1, 32') and Zoumana Bagbema added to the lead just before half-time (4-1, 42'), allowing Paris Saint-Germain to go into the break with a healthy lead.

In the second half, it was Chambly who quickly reduced the deficit with a goal from Samuel Come Ruiz (4-2, 49'). But our Parisians were not finished yet. Despite the dismissal of their captain Moutanabi Bodiang for a second yellow card (52'), the team rallied to take the lead and add to the score. Sékou Yansané got his first goal (5-2, 67') before adding a second (6-2, 89') to finally gave the Red and Blue a 21st victory this season. Game, set and match for the Paris Saint-Germain youngsters, who finish at the top of group A and will play in the finals.

THE NEXT MEETING

Now it's time for the finals. In the quarter-finals, Zoumana Camara's players will receive Toulouse, on Sunday 22nd May at the Camp des Loges.

On their side, Toulouse finished 2nd in group D with 54 points. The serious business starts now for our Titis.
