Juninho Paulista: 'A pleasure to play at the Parc des Princes'
The Brazil national team coordinator told PSG TV how much he's looking forward to his country facing Tunisia at the Club's home on 27 September.
Juninho, THE UPCOMING BRAZIL-TUNISIA GAME AT THE PARC DES PRINCES IS QUITE AN EVENT...
"We were looking to organise a game for which the players wouldn't have to fly to for hours and hours. We always try to play in Europe, but given the commitments to our sponsors, it's not always possible. Now we have the opportunity to organise this game against Tunisia with the assistance of the French Football Federation and Paris Saint-Germain. It'll be a real pleasure to play here in Europe."
WHAT DOES THE PARC DES PRINCES MEAN TO BRAZILIANS?
"It's a very special stadium. The players from Brazil who play here in Paris and those who play in the Champions League are used to playing in this stadium."
THE WORLD CUP IS COMING UP, AND BRAZIL ARE AMONG THE FAVOURITES...
"Brazil will go into it with great confidence. We had a great qualifying campaign, and we want to continue our preparations with that same confidence. There are only two matches left, the one here at the Parc des Princes will be the last before the tournament. So it's a very important game for us and for our preparations. It's great to be able to play in front of a full stadium. We're going to play Tunisia, who will also have fans here, so the atmosphere will be good. The players who play in Europe will be in top form. It's a very special stadium. It's been nearly two years that we've been playing only in Brazil, so we like to play friendlies in Europe, and the Parc des Princes is the perfect stadium for that."
