'It's very important to stay united'

Felipe, President of the PSG Fan Club Colombia, tells us how the COVID-19 crisis has affected his life.

Felipe tells us the pandemic has had a significant impact on his life and that of the Fan Club. "In Colombia, we've been in lockdown since March. For the moment, we have to stay at home till 11 May, but the lockdown will probably last a bit longer. I work from home, everyone is being careful and we only go out once a week to shop. We stay in contact as best we can outside of working hours. We talk about iconic Paris Saint-Germain games. We miss our daily routine and our club's matches a lot."

After the announcement of the end of the season and the cup competitions, Felipe still hopes the UEFA Champions League will restart, and often thinks about the Last 16 second leg against Dortmund. "Because of the time difference, we weren't able to get together for the game. I saw the game at work as did the other Fan Club members. I felt a lot of emotion after the match, which was crucial to the rest of the season for Paris Saint-Germain. After the game, we called each other to celebrate together. It was a great moment. The pictures of the fans gathered in front of the Parc des Princes were impressive. It's magnificent to see the union between players and fans. We've still got the Champions League to play, the rest has been cancelled. I hope this will be the year. The team is capable of great things, and we'll be behind them all the way."

Felipe also had another message of support: "I'd like to extend my support to all the medical personnel and those who work every day against the coronavirus. Those of us at home have an important role to play and we have to beat this virus by respecting the rules. That's how we'll also be able to enjoy Paris Saint-Germain matches again."
