Gianluigi Buffon hangs up his boots
The former Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper (during the 2018-2019 season) announced the end of his career on Wednesday 2 August.
The Italian international (176 caps, a national record) wore the Rouge et Bleu shirt on 25 occasions across all competitions. Gigi lifted the Trophée des Champions in 2018 and was crowned French champion in 2019 during his time with the club from the capital.
Paris Saint-Germain wish him the best of luck for the future projects that await him.
