Former players on show at the Parc des Princes
A glorious day! Paris Saint-Germain returned to the Parc des Princes on Friday 23 August for Round 2 of Ligue 1. It was a reunion with history, past, present and future!
History is made on the pitch. The latest submission to the annals of club glory was Paris Saint-Germain's second win in as many matches in the new 2024-2025 season, a 6-0 victory over Montpellier in the capital club's first home game.
It was an attacking festival lit up by those who are not only the present, but also the future, of this great club! This young team has a bright future ahead of it, and is already performing well!
And all of this unfolded under the watchful eyes of those who wrote the glorious chapters of Paris Saint-Germain's past (Daniel Bravo, Zoumana Camara, Pierre Reynaud, Ali Benarbia, Clément Chantôme, Philippe Col, Michel Bibard, Luis Fernandez, Vikash Dhorasoo, Dider Domi, Omar Da Fonseca, Patrick Mboma, Jérémy Menez, Milan Bisevac, Gregory Bourillon, Laurent Fournier and Javier Pastore). To mark the 50th anniversary of the club's first-ever victory at the Parc des Princes, a host of illustrious alumni were on hand to support Les Rouge et Bleu, as always, in the presence of Chairman Nasser Al-Kehlaïfi. The symbol of a family united, season after season!
