First training camp in Sochi for Paris Saint-Germain Academy Russia!
After its launch in Moscow, the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Russia held its first training camp in the seaside resort of Sochi.
The Paris Saint-Germain Academy Russia welcomed a host of children to the Champion's Planet sports base. Accompanied by two club-trained coaches, young footballers aged between eight and nine were given a taste of what it is to wear the club's colours.
In addition to daily training sessions, the children, who stayed in a dormitory throughout the week, played five games in a local tournament.
"We saw the children before and after the camp, and they had become a real family. We saw a change in their attitude and how they grew in confidence day by day. It was a great sporting and educational experience," said their coaches Marat and Oleg.
The aim is now to organise weekly games in Moscow between various academies.
