Evaluation of youth academies: PSG moves up one place in the standings
The French Football Federation has published its assessment of youth academies for the 2024-2025 season. Paris Saint-Germain has moved up one place to second.
Each year, the assessment is based on five efficiency criteria:
- Professionalisation (U16 to U23 under professional contract in the top two divisions of the top ten countries in the UEFA standings and the National [D3])
- Playing time in the senior team of the club whose youth academy the player attended
- National team caps (international matches played by players, regardless of nation)
- Education (diplomas obtained during the course of the season)
- European representation (players from clubs with UEFA standings, with a training agreement of at least one year)
Paris Saint-Germain moved up one place in the standings from last season to second, with an average score of 4.53/5, just behind Stade Rennais (4.60).
