The U19s will face Salzburg in the quarter-final!

The Paris Saint-Germain’s U19s will face FC Salzburg in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday 15 or Wednesday 16 March at the Stade Georges Lefèvre in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

 

As a reminder, the young Parisians qualified for the quarter-finals via UEFA Champions League route, finishing at the top of Group A with 14 points taken in 6 matches, ahead of Manchester City FC (1-1, 3-1), Club Bruges KV (2-2, 3-2) and RB Leipzig (3-0, 4-1), before beating Sevilla FC (2-0) in the Round of 16.

 

 

The Austrians also qualified via the UEFA Champions League route, finishing in first place in Group G with 12 points, ahead of Sevilla (0-2, 2-0), LOSC (3-1, 0-1) and VfL Wolfsburg (3-0, 2-1), before beating MSK Zilina (1-1, 4-3 on penalties) in the Round of 16.

 

 

The team that comes out on top in this encounter will make it into the Final Four of the UEFA Youth League, and in the semi-finals will face the winner of the quarter-final between Borussia Dortmund and Club Atlético de Madrid on Friday 22 April at the Stade de Colovray in Nyon. The final will take place at the same ground three days later.
