Construction ready to start on PSG Training Centre

In Poissy, the the future Paris Saint-Germain training centre continues to take shape. The first phase of the project, which includes the areas dedicated to the first team and logistics, will be delivered at the beginning of the 2023-24 season. A second phase of work will see the delivery of the areas dedicated to handball, judo and the stadium project.

According to Nicolas Ramillon, Real Estate Director of Paris Saint-Germain, 'the PSG Training Center is making great progress. Thanks to the dedication of all our teams and partners, we have been able to show flexibility and manage the impact of the health crisis. Work on our construction site, the second largest in the Paris region, has never been suspended. We are all committed to opening the first team building in 22 months. The current context has also led us to re-examine the feasibility of the project in order to better optimise the site. We have therefore decided to open in several phases. We are now looking to the future and confident in our ability to create a working environment capable of supporting the club's performance and growth.'

During the 2020-21 season, a major earth-moving phase was carried out, essential for designing the three platforms that will house the buildings and pitches. At the same time, a major planting operation was carried out. Today, the site is ready for the construction phase to begin.

At the same time, earthworks and landscaping operations will continue according to the seasonal rhythm. More than 2,000 trees have already been planted and another 1,000 will be added this winter.

Designed by Wilmotte & Associates, the design is sober, elegant, functional, sustainable and perfectly integrated into the natural landscape of the Poissy site.

These images once again embody the very high standards set by the club for this first 100% Paris Saint-Germain facility.
