'Beat this virus in order to see Paris Saint-Germain soon'

Stéphane, President of the PSG Fan Club in Bulgaria explains how life is quarantine is in his country and the impact of the COVID-19 health crisis on his everyday life.

Stéphane, President of the Fan Club in Bulgaria explains his feelings on the current COVID-19 crisis and his new routine in his house in the country. "In Bulgaria, we haven't been hit that hard by the virus. But we are still in lockdown like in France, we have to wear masks when we leave home and take numerous precautions. I normally live in Sofia, but I am in lockdown in the mountains. For the moment, everything is going well, but I am not seeing anyone from the fan club. We are still keeping in touch, we organise calls to discuss football. I am lucky to have space around me. I am working from home and looking after my two children."

Despite the termination of the French league campaign, Stéphane remains touched by the Round of 16 second leg against Dortmund and hopes to see the club from the capital continue its run in Europe. "For the Round of 16 second leg against Dortmund, we all met up in a bar in Sofia, I was able to meet four new members of the fan club. It was amazing to be able to celebrate this qualification together. The atmosphere was great and we were living it with the team until the very end. It was magic. I think that we need to believe that the team is capable of achieving something very special this year in the Champions League. We have a squad full of quality, we are definitely one of the best teams in Europe."

Stéphane also wanted to send a final message on the current situation: "I send my support to all supporters of the CUP who are helping the medical staff and those in need on a daily basis.  But also to those who are fighting on a daily basis to save lives and eradicate this virus. We need to stay at home to beat it and we hope to see Paris Saint-Germain play again soon."
