An emotional year for the Foundation
Like every year since its creation in 2000, the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation has had an intense year in 2021. Here is a look at a year full of emotions!
This is the number of girls registered in the Allez les Filles! programme in 2021. Designed for girls between the ages of 8 and 13, Allez les Filles! aims to introduce them to sports. At the end of this annual programme, the Foundation encouraged them to continue practising the sport of their choice by offering them a sports membership. The year ended with a week of fun and sports.
The number of volunteers who participated in 2021 in the supervision of the various events organised by the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation. All of them are employees of the club, and they have contributed massively to the smooth running of various operations. A big thank you to them!
This is the number of sick children who have had the opportunity to participate in the Soirées de Rêves around Paris Saint-Germain matches at the Parc des Princes in 2021. This is an opportunity for them to be invited to attend a Paris Saint-Germain match, to experience it up close with the players, and to receive a signed shirt. Whether in person or with the help of a robot that allows hospitalised children to discover what goes on behind the scenes of the match, the youngsters have experienced moments that will remain engraved in their memories.
The number of children enrolled at the Red & Blue School in Mantes-la-Jolie in 2021. These young people had the opportunity to follow the After School programme, based on an innovative pedagogical and sporting approach.
This is the number of women (and their children) who have been the victims of domestic violence and who have been accompanied each week of 2021 by the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation through its Allez les Femmes! programme. In collaboration with the Association Du côté des Femmes, which welcomes and supports women who are victims of violence and who are forced to flee their homes with their children, Allez les Femmes! offered them a programme of educational and fun activities.
The number of students in precarious situations who benefited from a hot meal at the Parc des Princes in 2021 on the occasion of the first Solidarity Canteen of the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation.
This is the number of young people with disabilities who benefited in 2021 from the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation's initiatives to use sport as a means of integration and awareness. In total, 22 young people who are registered for the Foundation's year-round adapted football team took part in weekly training sessions.
The number of beneficiaries of the Foundation's Village during the summer of 2021. This travelling village (one Ile-de-France town per day, rural areas or priority neighbourhoods selected by the department or the town hall) offered young people from Ile-de-France and their families the opportunity to participate in sports, educational and civic workshops.
This is the number of migrants or refugees who have been helped by the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation, which has given them access to food, sport or holidays. This assistance was made possible thanks to the Foundation's support for Secours Populaire Français.
In total, the number of beneficiaries during the various operations organised by the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation in 2021. Throughout the year, the Foundation offered 443 events to underprivileged or sick children, young people and communities in difficulty.
about the paris saint-germain foundation
Since its creation in 2000, the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation has been dedicated to helping disadvantaged or sick children, young people and communities in difficulty. It deploys educational and sports programmes in France and abroad that use sport and its values as a lever for learning, development and solidarity. In 2013, the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation set up a Fund to collect donations from individuals or companies for the development of its social and community responsibility programmes. Through its social and professional integration programmes, its Red and Blue Schools, its support for refugees and its donations to charities, the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation relies on the educational and psychological virtues of sport to help people in difficulty.
