Academy launched at the Franco-Qatari Lycée in Doha

A gala opening ceremony last Saturday saw students and their parents launch the Paris Saint-Germain Academy at the Lycée Voltaire in Doha, last Saturday.

After the official announcement from school director Monsieur Chauvet, the students were given their official Paris Saint-Germain Academy kits.  The lycée Voltaire, founded in September 2007, is a Franco-Qatari school boasting 1,700 from primary school to high-school, across three sites (West Bay, Al Waab, Salwa).

The students of the Lycée Voltaire will have the opportunity to train twice a week and take part in local and international tournaments, under the direction of the specially trained coaches of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy. Just a few days after opening, the academy already counts 125 new athletes, including a girls team - an important step in the development of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Qatar!
