A successful first PSG Academy training camp in Guyana

From 17 to 20 April, the commune of Remire-Montjoly hosted the very first Paris Saint-Germain Academy training camp in Guyana.

Nearly 110 children, boys and girls, took part in training sessions at the Edmard Lama Stadium. Under the guidance of coaches from the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Antilles-Guyane, the young footballers were able to learn the philosophy of the game, the spirit and the values that the club wishes to promote.

Despite the sometimes unpredictable weather conditions, the training camp ran perfectly. The parents and children present enthusiastically embraced the Paris Saint-Germain training methods for young players.

Benjamin Houri, Technical Director of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy International Programme, also took part in this great initiative by speaking via video call to share the club's expectations and standards. This first training camp was a great success and allowed us to share the passion of football with the young Guyanese present for the event.
