A promising start for the Academy Thailand

The Paris Saint-Germain Academy Thailand, in association Asia Football Development Company Limited, has made a great start to live in South-East Asia.

The Paris Saint-Germain Academy Thailand has opened centres for children between 4 and 16 years of age, at Phuket, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Bangkok and Koh Samui.

The Academy project in Thailand is ambitious on several levels: first of all, by its quality, with experienced professional coaches, fantastic facilities and ideal training conditions, and also by its scale, with seven sites already opening their doors in five cities across the country.

Nadia Benmokhtar, Head of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy, is enthusiastic about this launch: "We are very proud of this opening in Thailand that contributes to nurturing the club's big ambitions in Asia, and happy to see the immediate success of the Academy, proof of the love that young Thais have for Paris Saint-Germain."

In order to ensure that the club's methodology and philosophy are properly taught, Benjamin Houri, Technical Directort of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy, was on site at the end of September to train local coaches. Their mission will be to transmit all the educational and sporting values dear to Paris Saint-Germain. "We invite all football lovers to come and join us and discover our unique teaching methods, while having fun and fun," said Benjamin. "Some training slots are already full! But places are still available at some sites, especially in Bangkok."

Thus, during the first months of operation in July and August 2019, more than 250 children participated in summer camps at the Paris Saint-Germain Academy, enjoying a unique experience for a few days.

Since September, the Football School yearly programs have also attracted more players from across the country, who train daily in our centres.
