A former PSG Academy student called up to the USA U15 squad

William Lodmell, a former member of the PSG Academy USA, was recently called up to the USA U15 national team.

The young goalkeeper, who will turn 15 next month, earned his first cap for his national team at a training camp for the USA U15 squad held a few days ago in Tampa. The former PSG Academy student was one of two goalkeepers called up by head coach Tom Heinneman.

A true globetrotter, William has played for many clubs around the world. He played in Argentina and Portugal before joining the PSG Academy in Miami in 2017. He was the pride and joy of his teammates and coaches Larry and Morgan for one season. He took part in the 2018 edition of the PSG Academy World Cup, where he was voted best goalkeeper of the tournament.

After his experience at the PSG Academy, William flew back to Portugal and joined Sporting Clube de Portugal where he signed his first professional contract in 2022.

The PSG Academy USA is very proud to have a player like William in its ranks and to have been able to contribute to his development. The entire PSG Academy and Paris Saint-Germain congratulate William on his first international call-up and this wonderful start to his career!
