Paris Saint-Germain will soon celebrate their 50th anniversary. Relive with us, in 12 key dates, the creation of the capital club in 1970, that has now won more trophies than any other French club. Today, act 3: June 10 1970.

After the vote of the associates of Paris Football-Club, then the board of Stade Sangermanois, the merger and the creation of the future Paris Saint-Germain is on its way.

On June 10 1970, a protocol agreement is given to the various protagonists who have been working for several months on the creation of a big football club in Paris.

In it is the discovery that the colours of the future club will be those of Saint-Germain, who play in white, but that a new kit is envisaged: a red shirt, with white shorts and blue socks, and that will become the outfit of the new capital club.

The headquarters will be those of Paris Football-Club, in the 17th arrondissement of  Paris, the address of the headquarters of the transport company Calberson of which Guy Crescent is the President.

Paris Saint-Germain's President will be Pierre-Etienne Guyot. Guy Crescent and Henri Patrelle, President and long-serving director of Stade Sangermanois, are named Vice-presidents.

In the document, Stade Sangermanois, a multi-sports club with sections for field hockey and tennis, commit to not creating a new football section.

Paris Saint-Germain is a new club, born of the merger of two distinct entities: the Paris Football-Club association and the football section of Stade Sangermanois.

On June 17 1970, the protocol agreement is signed by the two parties, and at the same time it is decided that the annual fee to subscribe will be 35 francs, a little more than 5 euros... The new leadership of the club adopt the system of "socios" dear to the Spanish clubs.
