Those two men were, unsurprisingly, the match's two top scorers: Luka Karabatic and Mikkel Hansen. Our pivot was, as usual, efficient at both ends of the court, delivering a massive defensive performance but also scoring six times from eight attempts on the Portuguese goal. The Parisian captain also gave Les. Rouge et Bleu a breath of fresh air by scoring from a tight angle as the final minutes of the game approached.

Meanwhile, our Danish left-back once again proved prolific and clinical, firing 9 from 11and leaving the opposing 'keeper with very few chances to shine. A great performance that saw him take his European goal tally to 37 for the season, keeping him among the competition's sharpest shooters despite Paris Saint-Germain Handball's still having two matches in hand.
