Paris Saint-Germain Handball is pleased to announce the signing of Yann Genty for the 2020-2021 season. The French goalkeeper will be linked to the Club for two years, until June 30th 2022.

Yann Genty is currently playing at Chambéry Savoie Mont-Blanc Handball, with whom he won the French Cup last May. In the Savoyard jersey, he was named Lidl Starligue's best goalkeeper on two occasions, in 2015 and 2019.

The 37-year-old won his first two caps for the French national team a few weeks ago. In Paris, he returned to his native region and, alongside Vincent Gérard, formed a 100% French pair in the Parisian goals.

"A dream comes true today," said Yann Genty, after signing his contract. "I started handball in the Paris region and it is a very special feeling to come back and join Paris Saint-Germain, one of the most prestigious clubs in the world. I am proud to be part of its story in the near future. I will take a new step in my career and have the opportunity to show my quality at the highest European level."

"Yann Genty is undoubtedly one of the best goalkeepers in our championship," said Jean-Claude Blanc, Paris Saint-Germain's General Manager. "In recent seasons, he has shown decisive efficiency and consistency in his team's results. With Vincent Gérard, he will form a very experienced goalkeeping duo whose talent can turn a game upside down."
