After Paris Saint-Germain Handball's victory over Wetzlar in their third warm-up match (29-30), find out what Raul Gonzalez, Mathieu Grébille and Wallem Peleka had to say.
RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):
"We played a very good first 45 minutes. We were able to win this match and it's important that we continued our preparations with another victory. Everyone was able to play and do a good job. We're going to recover because tomorrow we have another game, against Gummersbach. We're going to step up a gear and we'll be more focused in the last quarter of an hour than we were today."
MATHIEU GRÉBILLE (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT WINGER):
"This is the best opponent we've faced since the start of our preparations. It was a real test, given that they're almost ready for their season to start. So it was a chance to find out where we stand. There were some good things; we managed to extend our lead in the second half, but we were less effective towards the end. Their 7 v 6 game caused us problems. That's good, because it will give us a chance to see what went wrong. We don't have much time to recover before the next game. But that's what preseasons all about."
WALLEM PELEKA (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-BACK):
"We won the match, but we still have a lot of things to sort out in a number of areas. That's normal during preseason. On a personal level, I need to improve my activity and learn to channel my energy. I'm ready to get on with it tomorrow."
Malgré un très bon retour de Wetzlar dans les dix dernières minutes, Paris a tenu bon et obtient un 3ème succès consécutif en préparation.
