Luc Steins had an excellent month of February and was duly voted as Paris Saint-Germain Handball Player of the Month.
It could hardly be otherwise - our Dutch centre-half has shone very brightly in the past few weeks. First of all in the Liqui Moly StarLigue, where he showed a real clinical streak by scoring with all five of his shots in the clash with Nîmes at Coubertin (36-31). This strong performance earned him a place in the Liqui Moly StarLigue Best 7 for the Round 18.
🥳Quoi de mieux qu'un lundi avec non pas UN mais DEUX 7⃣ de la semaine 👀

In the EHF Champions League, he also did a lot of damage to Flensburg's defence as Les Rouge et Bleu clinched an important win (33-30). This time, the Parisian also got points for style. He scored seven times against the Germans (from nine attempted shots) and was the top scorer in the match. But thanks to his technique and vision, he also made an appearance in the Top Goals of Champions League Matchday 12. He was also voted best centre-half of the week on the European scene.
Luc was voted Parisian Player of the Month for February 2022, ahead of Kamil Syprzak, Benoît Kounkoud, Mathieu Grébille and Dainis Kristopans.
