Paris Saint-Germain Handball are happy to announce that Kamil Syprzak has signed on to join the Club for season 2019-2020. The Polish pivot will be linked to the Club for two years.
After coming up at hometown club Wisla Plock, Kamil Syprzak moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2015. With the Blaugrana, he has won every domestic title on offer in Spain: four Spanish SuperCups, three Copas del Rey, three ASOBAL Cups and the three Spanish league titles.
A stalwart of the Polish national team, the 2.06m, 116kg giant has also shone in international competition, winning the bronze medal at the 2015 World Cup in Qatar.
"You don't turn down an offer to join Paris Saint-Germain," explained Kamil Syprzak after putting pen to paper. "I'm extremely happy to sign with such a prestigious club, a club that has been consistently at the very highest level in recent seasons. When you play for Paris, you have everything you need to succeed as a player and as a person too. The coach and the squad are of the highest quality. I can't wait to start this new stage of my career and to wear the Rouge et Bleu."
"We're thrilled that Kamil Syprzak will soon be a part of our squad," underlined Paris Saint-Germain Gerneal Manager Jean-Claude Blanc. "In four seasons with Barcelona, he showed that he has all the qualities of the modern pivot: an imposing physical presence, undeniable talent and a wealth of experience. He has all the elements to be a prize asset in our team as we go in search of future titles."
