Check out the Parisians' reactions after their 40-35 away win over GOG in the EHF Champions League.
RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):
"I am very happy with the victory. We saw that it can be very difficult to win here. Magdeburg have already lost in Denmark this season. This victory allows us to put pressure on Veszprém, who lost, and we will have to take advantage of this opportunity."
MATTHIEU GREBILLE (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-WINGER):
"In our last two games, against Saint-Raphaël and GOG, we had difficult starts. This time we wanted to start better, especially as we wanted to make it easier for ourselves way from home. It was a very intense match, and we ran a lot. In the end, this victory allows us to consolidate second place and it bodes well for the rest of the competition."
ELOHIM PRANDI (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-BACK):
"Defensively we were solid and compact. The only negative point is that we were not very good in the retreat phases. That can explain some of the easy goals we conceded. In attack, we were very good and that's what allowed us to win tonight. With this victory, we increased our tally and first place is still possible. We will host Magdeburg in December. They are a direct competitor for the two quarter-final tickets and it will be important to win at home. Tonight is another important step forward."
