The Paris Saint-Germain Academy launches their 100% eSport courses!

News

Always at the forefront of innovation, Paris Saint-Germain continues its development in eSport. The Club has teamed up with Armateam, a forerunner in eSport in France, to offer 100% eSport courses within its Paris Saint-Germain Academy programme.

These training courses symbolise Paris Saint-Germain's desire to continue passing on its know-how and educational values to the new generation. They will aim to introduce the fun and competitive practice of eSport through a variety of experiences and on different video games.

Thus, children or adults, beginners or experienced players, all fans of gaming and of the Club will have the chance to come and train at the Paris Saint-Germain Studio in Boulogne-Billancourt, the space dedicated to eSport and to the Club's digital activities.

From December, training courses will be offered on the famous EA Sports game FIFA 23. Ranging from two to five days, these sessions will enable players to learn all the secrets of this game on the PS5, from the best formations to line up in, to techniques for dribbling, to mastering set-pieces.

Always striving for excellence, the Club's eSport coaches have all undergone specific training, linked to the Paris Saint-Germain Academy. They will supervise the gamers with the aim of helping them to progress in the game while teaching them the basics of ethical and responsible video game play.

The Paris Saint-Germain Studio also offers an exceptional setting for organising tailor-made corporate events (team building, seminars, afterworks), giving employees a Rouge & Bleu experience. Finally, bootcamp sessions are also possible for gamers who want to train in professional conditions.

Fabien Allègre, Paris Saint-Germain's brand director, said: "This programme is in line with our strategy on eSports since 2016. With our expertise in France and internationally on the academic football programme, these courses have been designed to apply our methodology to the field of eSport, while offering quality teaching, respecting the recommended playing time."

The first courses will take place at the Paris Saint-Germain Studio during the school holidays, from 17 to 23 December and from 26 to 30 December.
