Paris Women cut the mustard
Olivier Echouafni's Paris Saint-Germain Women's team continued their excellent run with a 2-0 win over Dijon in Week 7 of the Women's D1.
Just three days after their excellent 2-0 win away to Swedish champions Linköping in the UEFA Women's Champions League, Les Rouge et Bleu continued their winning ways at home versus Dijon.
Kadidiatou Diani opened the scoring with a wonderful individual goal, dribbling the entire defence, including the goalkeeper before scoring into an empty net (1-0, 28').
Introduced in the second half, Marie-Antoinette Katoto added a second goal late on with a clinical finish into the far corner (2-0, 80').
The win sees Paris Saint-Germain keep the pressure on Olympique Lyonnais at the top of the standings; OL take on Bordeaux on Sunday.
