Paris Saint-Germain into the quarters!

News

Paris Saint-Germain recorded a 3-2 win over Linkoping in the second leg of their UEFA Women's Champions League last-16 tie, to book their place in the quarter-finals!

Leading 2-0 from the first leg in Sweden two weeks earlier, Paris Saint-Germain were in the box seat to go through.

Despite a bright start from the visitors, it was Les Rouge et Bleu that opened the scoring when Wang's free-kick was headed into her own net by Kildemoes (1-0, 30').

From a short corner moments later, Wang and Perisset set up Katoto to double the lead with a near-range header (2-0, 33').

The Swedish side reduced the arrears early in the second half through Hashemi (2-1, 47') before Katoto snared her brace with a cool finish one-on-one (3-1, 50).

Lantz netted a consolation goal for the visitors (3-2, 71'), as Paris qualified 3-2 on the night and 5-2 on aggregate for the UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-finals!
