Olivier Echouafni; 'Put in a big performance to qualify'

The Paris Saint-Germain women's team boss sounded a bullish note ahead of Wednesday's UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg against Chelsea.

What's the feeling in the squad ahead of the game?
"We want to get out on the pitch to achieve something. Given the way the first leg went, perhaps my players hadn't fully taken in the atmosphere around the Champions League. They've understood that in the last three days and want to take revenge."

What's your strategy for tomorrow?
"Chelsea were very clinical in the first leg, scoring twice from two shots on target...As for us, we had a shot, but weren't able to put it in the net. We have a two-goal deficit, so the strategy isn't straightforward. The team wants to go forward, but we have to be careful not to concede. Regardless, we'll have to put in a big performance to qualify."

Over 10,000 fans are expected at the Stade Jean-Bouin…
"It's going to be something very impressive emotionally! We love playing those sorts of games, the players want to give their best, show a different face to the first leg. We're counting on the support of our fans, they'll be behind us, that's for sure."
