Paris Saint-Germain's women's team made the difference late on to secure a 1-0 win over Guingamp in Sunday's top-flight encounter in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
With the Breton visitors proving stubborn, Paris toiled to break the deadlock, and had to wait until 17 minutes from time before finally getting through. Périsset sent Diani clear on the right - her cross was met by the unerring head of Katoto (1-0, 73'). It was enough to give the Rouge-et-Bleu a seventh win in eight league outings, and reinforce their grip on second place in the league table, two points behind leaders Lyon.
Attentions now turn to the UEFA Women’s Champions League Last 16 second leg against Linköping, which will take place on 31 October at the Stade Jean Bouin, kick-off 21:00CET.
