U17s start with a draw

The Paris Saint-Germain U17 drew 1-1 with Kashiwa Reysol on Monday 4 February on the Aspire 5 pitch in Doha, Qatar, on the opening day of the Alkass International Cup 2019.

Winners of last year's final 2-1 against the same Japanese club, the young Parisians were held to a 1-1 draw by Kashiwa in their opening match of the 2019 competition. A tight match burst into life in the final minutes when man of the match Chabrol thought he'd done enough for Les Rouge et Bleu in opening the scoring (1-0, 86'), before Maie equalised in stoppage time (1-1, 90+2'). Paris Saint-Germain now play AS Roma on Wednesday 6 February 18:45 (local time, 16:45 in France), at the Aspire 5.
