PSG EXPERIENCE coming soon

A unique opportunity to see behind the scenes at the Parc des Princes, immerse yourself in the Club’s history, sit on the substitutes’ bench, visit the dressing rooms, and, thanks to the latest virtual reality technology, fly over the Parc des Princes or even stop free kicks from Neymar.

Paris Saint-Germain proud to launch a new venture at the Parc des Princes to let all supporters experience the legendary grounds of Porte de St Cloud and immerse themselves in the Club’s history in an interactive and immersive way. Aiming to become one of Paris’s major tourist destinations, the Parc des Princes has not had any visitors since 2012 because of the total renovation of the stadium from 2013 to 2016.

Fabien Allègre, Director of Diversification, said, “The supporters are really looking forward to visiting the Parc des Princes, along with the millions of tourists who visit the French capital every year. In line with the Club’s aims, we have taken the time to devise a project that will more than meet their expectations, offering an interactive, immersive experience unique in the world.”

The proposed experience constitutes a world first for a football Club. It is based on the latest technology in the areas of virtual reality and immersive video, and is made up of three parts.

Paris Saint-Germain has joined forces with the film production company mk2 to create PSG EXPERIENCE. Using its expertise in the field of virtual reality, the mk2 group entrusted this unique visitor project to its subsidiary YWF, dedicated to producing and developing immersive experiences.

THREE-PART IMMERSION IN THE WORLD OF PSG

1. THE PSG STADIUM TOUR: VISIT THE REDESIGNED STADIUM

The stadium visit offers the chance to discover the Parc des Princes in a way that has never before been possible. Visitors can see behind the scenes of the stadium, wander through the dressing rooms, look into the changing rooms and sit on the substitutes’ bench on the edge of the field.

The experience is enhanced by cutting-edge technology in immersive devices. The Institute of research and coordination in acoustics and music (IRCAM) has developed a 3D sound experience that gives the public the illusion of going onto the pitch on a match evening.

2. HISTORY ROOM

In the History Room you will find a wall of trophies and an immersive video experience so you can relive the great moments of the Club’s history. The visitor walks through a story made up of spectacular projections.

3. PSG VR ARCADE: A WORLD FIRST FOR A FOOTBALL CLUB

The VR Arcade, on the first floor of the Megastore Paris Saint-Germain, opposite the Parc des Princes, is a 400 m2 arcade room devoted virtual reality experiences. Fly over Paris and the Parc des Princes thanks to Birdly - a French exclusive -, put Gianluigi Buffon’s gloves on to stop free kicks from Neymar and Di Maria, relive the last Classico against Marseille in 360°, go rowing on the Seine with the Paris players…

With state-of-the-art immersive technology (the very latest HP Reverb virtual reality headsets, flight simulator) and equipped with arcade terminals, the PSG VR Arcade is for everyone aged 6 and upwards. Entry to the arcade is free and each attraction is paid for separately. This lively area also includes a meeting place with a bar and an area where you can watch matches live.
