Yoann Gibelin: 'Away games are never easy'

News

On Tuesday evening, Paris Saint-Germain Handball qualified for the last 16 of the Coupe de France after beating Strasbourg (22-36). Check out the reactions from Raul Gonzalez, Ferran Sole Sala and Yoann Gibelin.

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"We played a good match, in a full house. The attack and defence worked well and that allowed us to make the difference quite quickly. We were then able to manage our lead. Now it's time for the Liqui Moly StarLigue. It will be complicated in Nîmes, against a good team. It's always complicated there. Especially as there will be a lot of fans there too. There will be a lot of pressure. But I think we will be ready."

FERRAN SOLE SALA (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL RIGHT-WINGER):

"We played well from the start. Contrary to what you might think, it's not easy to play a ProLigue team. We played a very serious match. In the first half we took a good lead and in the second half we continued to play well. That's very positive! Everyone got a chance to play. It's a good win before the league season starts. We will have to be ready in Nîmes."

YOANN GIBELIN (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-BACK):

"The match was not easy. Even though our status made us the favourite, away games are never easy. It wasn't perfect tonight, but we played a good match. That can set us up for this weekend in Nîmes. Personally, it was my first game back. It's always a bit strange, but my team-mates were able to make me feel confident. I'm happy to be back on the court and playing handball again."
